Welcome to LOLDeal! By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services ("LOLDeal Platform"), you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you may not use LOLDeal.
1. Eligibility & License
You must be 16 years or older to use LOLDeal. By using the platform, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under UK law.
LOLDeal grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the platform for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without permission.
2. User Conduct & Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Use LOLDeal for any illegal, fraudulent, or misleading activity.
- Post offensive, obscene, discriminatory, or defamatory content.
- Use bots, scrapers, or any automated means to access the site.
- Bypass or interfere with our moderation or security systems.
- Upload content you do not have the legal right to share.
LOLDeal reserves the right to moderate, remove, suspend, or ban accounts or listings that violate our rules without notice.
3. Listings & Content
By posting content on LOLDeal, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, and promote that content on the platform.
Listings must:
- Be truthful and clearly described.
- Include real photos of the actual item/service.
- Not include links to third-party or competitive marketplaces.
4. Payments & Fees
Some features (Ex: Premium listings, Featured listing, subscriptions) may require payment.
By using paid services:
- You agree to the published fees.
- All fees are non-refundable, even if listings are removed.
- LOLDeal is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.
5. User Safety & Anti-Scam Responsibilities
LOLDeal provides a Buy & Sell Safely Guide. Users must:
- Meet in safe public places for handovers.
- Use verified payment methods (avoid bank transfers to strangers).
- Report any suspicious activity or scams immediately.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from user interactions.
6. Privacy & Data
All data is handled in compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Liability Disclaimer
LOLDeal is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not guarantee:
- Item authenticity or accuracy of listings.
- That users will complete transactions.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, LOLDeal disclaims liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of the platform.
8. Intellectual Property
LOLDeal and its logo are trademarks of Blue Space Technologies Limited. You may not use them without permission.
All user-generated content remains the property of its creator but may be used by LOLDeal as described above.
9. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you:
- Breach these Terms
- Cause harm to other users
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of London, UK.
